Illiberal Turn findings presented at ECREA conference
Our project was represented at the 8th European Communication Conference, organized by the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA). Václav Štětka and Sabina Mihelj presented three papers arising from the project: “News consumption and polarization in Central and Eastern Europe: media repertoires approach“, “Media Systems, Polarization, and Trust in Eastern Europe“, and “News Consumption and the Rise of Illiberalism: Mixed methods explorations”. The last presentation was delivered as part of the special panel “Mixed Methods Approaches to Audience Research: Reflections on Recent Advances and Challenges”, convened and chaired by Sabina Mihelj.
