New year, new team member

The New Year also brings a new member to the ‘Illiberal Turn’ project team: we are delighted to announce that we have recruited our second Research Associate, who will be working on the qualitative strand of the project with Professor Sabina Mihelj.

Dr Katherine Kondor is an anthropologist with expertise in far right social movements, holding a PhD from the University of Huddersfield. Dr Kondor, who will be joining our team from 15 January, will take primary responsibility for qualitative data collection and analysis in Hungary, while also working on the comparative analysis of qualitative data from all four countries.

We will also shortly be appointing three local researchers who will assist us with collecting and analysing qualitative data in the remaining three countries: the Czech Republic, Poland and Serbia. Further information coming soon – watch this space!
